Eid ul-Fitr Prayer & Party

 

Following the sunnah of prophet Muhammad [salAllahu

alayhi wa sal-lam], Eid ul-Fitr prayer was performed

outside in the masjid parking lot. After the Eid khutbah

and celebratory hugs, refreshments were provided to the

muslim community to mark the importance of this big

day. The children were overjoyed with smiles when they

were given goodie bags full of asorted candies & chocolates. The morning concluded with the distribution of the goodie bags to the masjid neighbours.

Eid party was held on a weekend after Eid . Eid party included BBQ lunch, refreshments, bouncy castles for kids, Eid gifts & appreciation awards and of course cannot forget the warm company of our beloved muslim sisters.
