Norgate Community Day

 

The neighbourhood of Norgate, North Vancouver actively organises

annual Community Day for its residents. Masjid Ar-Rahman belongs

in this neighbourhood & alhamdulilah, this year for the second time,

we were able to be involved and contribute. Some of the masjid

members volunteered to BBQ at the event. We set up an information

table with pamphlets and brochures to reach out and educate others

about the truth about Islam. Alhamdulilah it was an eventful day.

 

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As: Mujahid said that Abdullah ibn Amr slaughtered a sheep and said: "Have you presented a gift from it to my neighbour, the Jew, for I heard the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) say: Gabriel kept on commending the neighbour to me so [much] that I thought he would make an heir?"
